Arrows & Errors

by Jillian Sweeney and Jeffrey Cranor

Clear selection

Jillian Sweeney and Jeffrey Cranor are a choreographer and writer duo who create theater works combining their interests in dance, fiction, and old films and songs. This past year they’ve been building a studio in Saugerties, NY, designed as a workshop space for their projects and for other artists who need a getaway place to make. Their new piece Arrows & Errors is an exploration on the potential for self slipping away and finds inspiration from soft shoe dances by Cole & Atkins, ghost stories – as told by the ghosts themselves – in Ali Smith novels, and some pictorial guides for theories on science & speculation.
